  • Welcome to CyberPageant!
  • Please be courteous to other members.
  • This site currently does not work with WebTV or AOL browsers.
  • This is a member run site by elected representation into the Tribal Counsel.
  • Scoring is based on the average rating of a person's authenticity, allure rating, ballot vote rating, mail personality rating, gallery views rating, trust rating, and looks rating. Thus the scoring is based on CPpoints which are equal to:
(authenticity rating + allure rating + ballot vote rating + personality rating + looks rating + gallery views rating + trust rating) * 100
  • The Tribal Counsel is an elected group of five authentic members, one from each party, that govern the CP society by keeping the peace and helping the site evolve in healthy ways. Each party elects a Counselor that will represent them on the site. Only authentic members are allowed to vote for Counselors. Counselor duties include voting on: photo approvals, account suspension and deletion. The Tribal Counsel will choose amongst them which Counselor will be the forum moderator. Members can change their party on the 5th and 20th of each month, and vote for a new Counselor on the 1st and 15th of each month. There are five parties to choose from: Green, Blue, Red, Orange and Purple. Each authentic member can vote for up to three Counselors. Members wishing to be a Counselor must vote for themselves. The members with the most votes within each party becomes Counselor for that party for that term. In the situation of a tie, the most senior member becomes Counselor. Though voting for a Counselor is optional, it raises an authentic rating from 5 to 10. A member cannot serve two consecutive terms as a Counselor. Counselors who do not login for more than 4 days while in office will be removed from Counsel and suspended from running as a Counselor for 6 weeks. A warning will be sent via email to a Counselor every 24 hour period the Counselor does not login. Only 2nd and 3rd(last) warnings will also displayed on the home page.
  • Regarding photo approvals, because the site liability is in the approval not the rejection of a photo, and that this is a member run site, it will always take more Counselor votes to approve a photo then to reject it. Currently, it takes three Counselors to approve and two to reject a member photo.
  • Member Authenticity is based on the authenticity requirements. An authenticity rating of 5 is given once the authenticty requirement have been met, and 10 if have also voted in the last TC election, else the rating is 1. Authentic members can vote, change their photos, receive higher Looks scores, have public and private galleries, and participate in the forums.
  • Allure rating is based on the number of alluring points. Using the HTML code associated with their banner link page, each unique click within a 45 day period, a member is given an alluring point. If someone joins as a result of the banner, the member associated with that banner is given 10 additional alluring points that are valid for 45 days. Also, when someone new joins CP, regardless of how they found their way here, the joining member is given the opportunity to give an existing member 10 alluring points that are valid for 45 days when the joining member's main photo is approved. These 10 signup alluring points turn into 100 points (valid for 45 days) when the joining member authenticates. This means one member joining can give up to 111 points [1 (click) + 10 (referer) + 100 (authentic join because of)]. If the joining member leaves the site, the alluring points associated with thier signup are removed. Sorted by the highest number of allure points desending, the highest allure rating is 10 and the lowest is 7.
  • The Most Trusted is based on which member is allowed to see the most private galleries. Thus, the Trust Rating is the rating associated with how many private gallerys a member is allowed to see. Sorted by the highest number of accesses desending, the highest trust rating is 10 and the lowest is 7.
  • Gallery Views rating (Hottest Gallery) is based on who has the highest number of distinct members viewing thier gallery in the past 72 hours. As an example, if a gallery has 10 views from 2 members, the distinct gallery view count is 2. On the other hand, if a gallery is viewed 4 times by 4 different members, the distinct gallery view count is 4. Sorted by the highest view count desending, the highest gallery view rating is 10 and the lowest is 7.
  • Private Gallery access is given to the viewer by the owner of the gallery. Permissions are granted by a button in the mail composer.
  • Topic rating is based on the number of distinct users participating in the last 72 hours in a forum topic a user has started. As an example, if a topic has 10 posts from 2 people, the distinct topic post count is 2. On the other hand, if a topic has only 4 posts yet all 4 came from different members, the distinct topic post count is 4. Sorted by the highest number of distint user posts desending, the highest topic rating is 10 and the lowest is 7. Only the topic with the highest topic post count will be used for each members. Mutliple topics do not add to this score. We use "Forum Topic Masters" on the home page istead of "Best Topic Makers" because sometimes the most active topics are not the best topics. Only one new topic per member per hour.
  • Looks rating is the average rating from the RateMe page and FaceOff. 10 is the highest (9 for non-authentic members) and 1 is the lowest score that can be given on the RateMe page. FaceOff is random competition where the rating is curved on a win:lose ratio. In the case where a non-authentic member is up against an authentic member in FaceOff, the non-authentic member automatically forfeits and the authentic member wins.. Forfeits are not resurrected when a member authenticates.
  • The highest Ballot vote rating received is 10.00, while the lowest is 5.00. Only authentic members can ballot vote, and one vote is given to the voter for a complete ballot. The ballot rating set for the authentic member with an incomplete ballots is 1.00. Ballot vote capable members are disabled from the pageant with an incomplete ballot for more than 7 days. Ballot votes can be changed at any anytime.
  • Mail Personality Points are given to the sender by the authentic receiver of mail by the form located on the top portion of all mail messages, including previously deleted mail. Only authentic members can give personality points.
  • +5 is the highest and -4 is the lowest score that one person can give another for Personality Points, no matter how much mail is exchanged between the two. The receiver of mail giving the score of less than -1 to a sender will block that sender from sending further mail to that receiver. Mail Personality Points given by the receiver to the sender expire 7 days after the most recent message is first read by the receiver. In other words, Personality Points expire 7 days from the initial viewing of the last message received.
  • To help people be nice and watch what they say, the ability to edit and delete posts has been removed from the forums. Once something is posted in the forums, it is out there to stay. People need to "apologize" rather than "edit" - no "take backs".
  • Stats update every 15 minutes.
  • Photos are not rated when disabled.
  • Forum topics are set to be auto removed 7 days after their last post.
  • The accumulated photo rating votes are divided in half each time the total number of votes reaches 200. This does not change the score but does keep the scoring volatile.
  • Photos are automatically disabled from the pageant after not logging in for 14 days.
  • Photos are automatically disabled from the pageant top 10 after not logging in for 7 days or replying less than 20% of mail for 2 days.
  • [M] is the membership senority color for which each 10 days the person is a member the membership rating color increases by one. 100 days and over is gold. This is only a rating color association and is not factored into any scoring.
  • Mail reply percentage is the percentage someone replies to the original message only and not any recurring replies on that message thread. The mail reply percentage is used only to disable top 10 users that do not reply to original messages. The mail reply percentage does not factor into any scoring but does have a rating color association that increases by one for every 10% reply percentage increase and 70% and over is gold.
  • The Featured members are selected automatically based on membership seniority for persons not already on the home page and change once per day. When the current new member is reached, the rotation starts again from the most senior member.
  • Deleted mail is removed after 10 days and all other mail is removed after 30 days whether read or not.
  • All mail sent or received by a user is removed at the time the account is deleted whether read or not.
  • All multiple accounts are promptly removed if more than one photo of the same person appears in the top 10.
  • Accounts are promptly removed if complaints are received from other members, found to be cheating, found trespassing in opposite sex authentic forums, or claiming first hand knowledge of what is happening in the opposite sex forums.
  • Private opinions are made to be kept private to protect the person with the opinion - everyone is free to have and share whatever opinion they have. If they assumed their opinion was private and it becomes public, it now becomes a breach of trust. Because opinions change quicker than the rebuilding trust, any member found trespassing or sharing first hand knowledge of what is happening in the opposite sex forums may be promptly suspended or removed from the site. This judgement will be made by the Tribal Counsel.
  • Forum Rules:
All social behavior on the site is governed by the Tribal Counsel. The basic rules are (which the Tribal Counsel can interpret and act on as they see fit): name calling and badgering complaints get a warning or a request for a public or private apology, however, racist remarks or harassing CPadmin warrant instant deletion.
  • Nudity and Underage concerns:
For nudity, our concern is porn.
Porn is sexual or erotic behavior. Here are all three definitions of porn from http://m-w.com
1 : the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement
3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction (the pornography of violence)

Thus, it is posible for a nude photo to NOT be porn just as a clothed photo can be. This is why we cannot allow any sexual, sensual or erotic photos on the site clothed or not - sorry.
For underage, our concern doing due diligence.
You must be 18 AND look 18 to be on this site. If it is reported to the site that you are not 18, the will ask you if you are 18. If you say you are 18 and your pic can pass for 18+, then you are being represented as an adult. If you say you are under 18, then we will thank you for coming forward, disable your galleries and give you time to say goodbye. We will welcome you back when you turn 18.
    Important notes:
    1) We are only representing members of 18+ years of age (everyone must look, act, be and say they are at least 18+ ).
    2) There is no porn on this site.
We hope that this addresses your concerns.
  • Accounts are automatically removed from CyberPageant after not logging in for 45 days.
  • Tribal Counsel Bylaws:
Rule1:Any current Tribal Counsel can create a new law as long as all Counselors agree on it's wording.
Rule2:Any law created by any previous Tribal Counsel can be amended by the current Tribal Counsel with a unanimous vote.
Rule3:Offending members must be able to plead their case before the Tribal Counsel prior to sentencing. The Tribal Counsel must announce the action that will be taken regarding member issues and the details of how the Tribal Counsel voted on the issue publically prior to the sentence being caried out. The announcement does not need to include the reasons.
Law 20040809.1: If someone claiming to have personal knowledge of your inconsistency with the requirements of this site has made that information known to the Counsel, we would simply like to confirm that you are indeed of legal age to be a member. However, a simple yes or no will not suffice due to the nature of the alleged infraction. We would ask that you either take a picture of, or scan a legal document containing your picture and date of birth--for your own security and protection you may tape paper over or blur out any other information which you do not want to reveal (such as full name/social security) However we must see your FACE and BIRTHDATE...if this evidence is not submitted in 3 days your account will be deleted. If this is not suitable, you may say your goodbyes and terminate your own CP account. You may submit this as a gallery picture, the counsel will REJECT it in order to avoid public viewing to protect you, however we will still be able to view it in the Tribal Counsel Console.
    Thank you for your cooperation.
